Insurance Coverage

Fees for psychologists in private practice are not covered by MSI. Private health insurance or an employee benefit plan (EAP) may cover some services. Some insurance plans require physician referral for reimbursement. Please check with your insurer or EAP to determine your eligible coverage. Clients are responsible for checking and understanding the details of their own particular policy to verify the limits of their coverage. Please note that direct billing is not available; receipts will be provided for reimbursement. 

Services provided by a registered psychologist are tax deductible and they can be claimed as a medical expense on your personal income tax return.
